Your duties and responsibilities
- You develop high-quality software, and you take an active role in guiding and mentoring Developers and Junior Developers
- You design and implement extensions and improvements to our SaaS platform, identify and resolve defects, deliver on epics, tasks, and sub-tasks, extend documentation, and maintain a clean, sustainable modern codebase
- You work within a squad along the SCRUM framework, developing complete user stories from initial analysis to final delivery in close cooperation with peers, Developers, and Juniors
- Together with the Product Owner, you build a deep understanding of the problem domain to ensure that at any moment you know exactly why and what we are building
- You collaborate with the development team to design robust technical solutions, either implementing them yourself or supporting the implementation with your expertise
- You ensure implementation quality through continuous code reviews and active participation in SCRUM ceremonies
- Through your passion and professionalism, you serve as a role model for all developers – as an individual, a technical expert, a reviewer, and the person accountable for technical excellence

What you bring as the ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, a related field or a comparable education
- High level of software engineering expertise with minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and backend development
- Proficient in Python, Django, Docker, SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Nice to have: experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, QA automation, and team leadership
- Experience working with agile methodologies (SCRUM)
- Fluent in Englisch, both written and spoken
